Join our Ice Rink Maintenance Team!
The arrival of the fall season is bittersweet; warm sunny days transition into chilly evenings and remind us that winter is just around the corner! For some of us, winter can’t get here fast enough! If you love winter activities and are counting the days until you can lace up your ice skates, then we want to recruit you!
Every year a dedicated team of volunteers affectionately known as the “Rink Rats” works very hard to build and maintain NHL-quality ice at the St. Moritz park rink for our community to enjoy. If you are interested in assisting with the rink this winter, we would be pleased to save you a position on our team.
The ice rink is supported by the City of Waterloo and maintained by volunteers in our neighbourhood. The CHCA coordinates the required maintenance and actively recruits volunteers.
